First impressions upon arriving on the island were the brightest. The atmosphere was imbued with moisture, mixture of scents of tropical plants, palms, warmness, Cypriots ? everything unusual. The Dome Hotel fully met our expectations and made a favourable impression on us. This is a secluded holiday resort settled further than other hotels, enjoying the desired tranquility between two outstanding bays. The hotel was clean with recent refurbishment. The territory presented nothing special: usual vegetation, a quaint pool for adults and a kids? pool. It would be better to occupy place on the beach in the morning, i.e. to through towels on the chaise-longs. Then in a couple of hours you can go and sunbathe. The beach was sandy and quite nice but a lot of stones in the sea made the entrance difficult for children. We went sightseeing there. In mountains there were a lot of beautiful monasteries, the biggest and the most wonderful was Kikkos, beautiful waterfalls. We were recommended to see the Kaledonia waterfall. The seaquarium is near Protaras. There were presented in big aquariums inhabitants of sea depths ? beginning with little colourful fishes and corrals to small sharks. At least children liked very much.
