The location of Jing Du Yuan hotel, across from a government building, was on a side street off a very busy main street with a neighborhood of shacks on the other side. The location was actually not that far from the Forbidden City but the hotel is surrounded by large and busy streets. The traditional Chinese exterior was actually quite nice and the lobby was acceptable.
The room itself was adequate. The amenities were great, comb, toothbrush set, shower gels, and shampoos.
